June Newsletter

VILLAGES OF GARRISON CREEK

HOA NEWSLETTER

JUNE 2025

PARKS

  • Keep your eyes open for the covey of quail hiding out in the blackberries on the other side of Garrison Creek.
  • But if you see goslings by the pond, then I’d recommend you back away slowly — their parents are vicious!
  • Repairs on Bridge 3 should be done by the end of June. (Really!)

PAVEMENT

  • Dick Cook is now in charge of mowing lawns, grinding sidewalks, and patching pavements — and he’s looking for helpers.
  • Myra Road and Garrison Village Way will be the topic at a virtual meeting of smart people from Walla Walla County, plus the cities of Walla Walla and College Place. You can watch it on Tuesday, June 17, at 10:00 AM. We’ll let you know where to watch it online as soon as we find out.
  • Our “No Parking Signs” now have rounded corners. You’re welcome.

PROBLEMS

  • Yes, there are plans to replace our mailbox shelters (though not the mailboxes themselves). Stay tuned.
  • Expect some dust and noise from the new subdivision being built to our north; I’m sure it will all be worth it someday.
  • Troubles with your lawn sprinklers? Use PayHOA to place a work order.
  • And if you’re out and about for an early morning walk, then you may want to stick to the sidewalks — some of the cars on the road at that hour can be a little erratic.

PEOPLE

  • There’s Kaffee und Kuchen at the Gazebo on Thursday, June 5, at 9 AM.
  • Lawn games, treats, and pickle-golf — all at the Blackberry Mini-Target Golf Course on Sunday, June 8, at 2 PM.
  • Next meeting of our Board: 2 PM Sunday, June 22, at SonBridge.

That’s all!
