VGC – Road Maintenance this week (10/23)

Klicker Enterprises will be crack filling VGC street pavement this week (October 23rd). The process will start in Phase 8 and move east filling Phase 1-2 last

Trail clean up Sunday (October 29th)

The Villages of Garrison Creek is having a Volunteer Day this Sunday October 29th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We are clearing out the fallen limbs south of Garrison Creek between Bridges 3 and 4, behind the Walla Walla Housing Authority property.

Volunteers should bring gloves, rakes and heavy limb loppers/shears if they have them. The work will consist of loading limbs and large limb logs onto two 4-wheelers to transport across Bridge 3 and offloading the material on two dump trucks staged on SE Creekside near the walking trail. We might need to drag some of the limbs by hand to supplement the two 4-wheelers.

If volunteers can’t do heavy labor, possibly they could bring drinking water & refreshments for the volunteers doing the heavy lifting.

A detailed agenda will be available prior to the meeting.
